Welcome to LocalWise Support. LocalWise is a hyper-local discovery platform built to connect users with professionals in their immediate area. This document explains how users and professionals can seek assistance related to app features, the VIP Feed, Live Offers, and general account guidance.

Please note that LocalWise acts strictly as a digital directory and communication bridge. Support is offered on a best-effort basis for technical platform issues only.

Scope of Support: What Kind of Assistance We Provide

We actively assist with:

  • Navigating app features, including the VIP Feed, Live Offers, and Visual Stories.
  • Setting up, editing, or troubleshooting your Professional Profile.
  • Processing requests to add new Cities or Areas via our in-app request tool.
  • Reviewing reports of fake posts, inappropriate content, or technical bugs.
  • Resolving issues related to following/unfollowing professionals or adjusting location settings.

We do NOT assist with:

  • Mediating disputes, disagreements, or service quality complaints between users and professionals.
  • Issuing refunds or handling financial disputes (all transactions and payments happen directly off-platform between the user and the professional).
  • Guaranteeing the quality, safety, licenses, or availability of any professional listed on the app.
  • Fixing or verifying incorrect WhatsApp numbers, phone numbers, or addresses provided by professionals.
  • Emergency services or urgent off-app assistance.

*All interactions, calls, messages, and transactions occur directly and independently between the user and the professional. LocalWise assumes no role in the actual service delivery.*

How to Contact Support

For the fastest resolution, please use the "Send Feedback" screen directly inside the LocalWise app. You can use this built-in tool to report bugs, suggest new features, or request the addition of new service areas to our database.

  • Screenshots or screen recordings of the bug or profile in question.

Performance & Status Disclaimers

Data Caching and Refresh Delays

To provide a lightning-fast experience and significantly reduce your mobile data usage, LocalWise utilizes aggressive local device caching. This means your VIP Feed, Follower lists, or Discover Search results may occasionally take a few minutes to reflect recent changes, unfollows, or expired offers. You can manually force an update at any time by utilizing the "pull-to-refresh" gesture on your screen.

Platform Availability

LocalWise relies on third-party cloud infrastructure to operate. Temporary downtime, maintenance screens, or brief data synchronization delays may occur and are considered part of the normal operation of the platform.

Account Responsibility

  • For Professionals: You are solely responsible for keeping your contact numbers, WhatsApp links, business details, and Live Offers accurate and up-to-date. Misleading or repeatedly inaccurate data may result in profile suspension.
  • For Users: You are responsible for verifying the credentials, rates, and safety of any professional before engaging their services.
  • LocalWise is not responsible for miscommunications, missed appointments, lost data, or unauthorized account access resulting from shared or compromised login credentials.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LocalWise, its creators, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, lost business revenue, physical damages or injuries from services rendered, failed communications, or data loss. Support communication does not create any contractual obligations, warranties, or guarantees.

Updates to Support Policy

This Support & Help policy may be updated at any time without prior notice to reflect changes in our app's architecture or legal requirements. Continued use of the LocalWise app constitutes your acceptance of the most current version of this document.
